I was dumping my trash in the dumpsters of my apartment complex and I found a nice gold frame with four legs that looked like it was either a very short table or an ottoman.  I thought it was super cool so I figured I could recycle it and make something with it.

It was sitting in my apartment for about six months until I got myself wood, a power saw, fabric and batting.

It was super simple since I already had the frame of the base.  All I had to do was saw the wood to size, use the staple gun to cover it with fabric and batting and screw it on the the frame I recycled.

Here it is!!

Those who say it can't be done shouldn't interrupt the person doing it.

What a great reformation! And the skull fabric fits right into the decorative scrolling.

This is beyond awesome. I love it. I really must get my hands on some of that fabric. I keep seeing people making the most wonderful things with it, and I am having major fabric envy.

We abuse land because we regard it as a commodity belonging to us. When we see land as a community to which we belong, we may begin to use it with love and respect.

Thanks everyone for the sweet remarks!! I LOVE the fabric and I'm using it to redecorate my whole living room, we'll see how it turns out.

I got the fabric at a small local fabric store, I'm not sure where else you can find it... it's expensive though!!!  Undecided
