This is my first lap sized quilt and the 3rd quilt I've done.  I like it, well most of it.  I like it enough to actually post it to all of you, who are way better.  Sorry my dog is laying on a part of it.  She looked cozy, so I didn't want to move her.

I've seen people put strip of color on the backing and I like it, but no one else seems too.  I know it's not lined up correctly but what do you think of the backing?

Thanks for looking!

I like it!  I'm a newbie quilter (working on my 3rd one, 1st that is actual bed sized) and I haven't seen the color strip in back.  I think it's cool!

oooh, I really like the moder zig-zagy pattern and you colour choice. I have also been noticing the added colour on quilt backings and really like the look of it. I think you did a great job!

I love pieced quilt backs I mean they just rock.  Also, What do you mean it's not lined up? Its in a line is it not? If you mean it isn't in the center back Its way cooler offset.  If you're going to break the "rules" and put color in the back you might as well do it however you want to.

Thanks everyone for all the compliments.  The color strip isn't in line because when I quilted the rows it made the back look uneven even though it isn't.  I know it's confusing but oh well.

I like it.  It's simple in its color scheme and it looks sorta 80's vintage, which is cool.

It's a great quilt! And I do love the 'tag' on the back. It's like signing your artpiece.
