I received today, and whoo-hoo!!  My partner, LinzSerena, TOTALLY rocked my socks off!!!!!

Here's what I woke up to!!


What's in the biohazard bag?


A kidney wristlet!!  Linz said this is her first time making anything of the sort, and she did an AWESOME job!!  I thought that she'd been doing beaded embroidery for years!


Then some amazing resin necklaces, and an AIDS keychain (which I LOVE!), and the clamps too!


Linz is silly, and since I had my tonsils taken out because they were crappy, she sent me healthy tonsils!  I wore this today!  And I plan on wearing it when I see my ENT again!  LOL!


For my daughter, a felt body with the organs and skeletal system that can be removed and put back in place!  GENIUS!  My daughter immediately sat down and played with this, and was even putting the organs and bones where they belong after just studying it once!!!!!  Future doctor, perhaps?!?

Oh, and just so ya'll can get an idea of size...  My DD is 4, and the body on this is the EXACT size as my DD!  We had so much fun comparing the bones to her arms and legs!

And as if I wasn't feeling spoiled enough, I got these socks, which are totally off my Wist, and I'm so excited to have them!!


I also got syringe pens (which I've literally wanted for YEARS!!), in yet another biohazard bag!!


Also, but my batteries died before taking the last pic, I received a John Hopkins postcard and lanyard (where the lovely Linz works), AND AND AND!!!  She found 4 General Patton 3 cent stamps, which I have been looking for!!!!!!!!!!!!!  (squeals!!!)

If I'm forgetting something, apologies in advance.  I'm so thrilled with everything, and I was blessed with a wonderful and patient partner!

Yay! I'm so glad that you liked everything! I was so nervous. I got to try a lot of "firsts" in doing this swap, so I learned quite a bit!
It's funny that the felt body is the same size as your daughter. I actually looked up the average height of a preschooler (Oh I'm such a nerd!) to figure out what size I was going to make it and then after I made it, I realized that the dimensions were kinda off for a child, but I'm so glad it worked out!

P.S. You have thoroughly convinced me that I never want to have my tonsils taken out. I considered it a few times, but I think I'm sold on "no thanks".

LOL!  I like nerds! 

And I think in the long run, tonsillectomies are worth it , but I wish the recovery wasn't so bad.  It'll be nice to not have strep 6 times a year!  I mean, 3 weeks of feeling poopy compared to approx 12 weeks of strep...  I'll take the 3 weeks!
