And here is my sweeeet swap loot from m8888888:

very cool cards that she made on her gocco, 4 placemats with my favorite kind of fabric, 4 napkins with stomach motif, how awesome is that, big scrap of my favorite kind of fabric, wicked fun vintage anatomy "atlas", 4 amazing atc's, and "gro-organs" which is one of those insane rubbery things that you put in water and watch it swell up.  Hell yeah!  You will see that this is missing from it's empty package there, because the boychild immediately ran away with it to stick it in water! Roll Eyes  Didn't even save it for mommy to do, grrrr. Pesky teenagers. Roll Eyes

Anyway here it is in water!  Yum! Grin

Here's a close up so you can see the killer images on the cards - with their thumpin' blood-colored buttony hearts!  And also the totally apropos stomach print on the napkins!  Now my kitchen is complete.  Really! Cheesy

And I just have to show off the 4 atc's, sitting here on a placemat.  They are *beaded* and everything!  They will be displayed prominently in my atc gallery.

Thank you to the most awesome m8888888, one of the best swap partners ever!
And of course big thanks to our fabulous organizer!

oh wow.
there's so much awesome stuff that folks have made for this swap.
all the cards (including the super cool ones my partner gave me) are amazing - those ones that m888888 are cool.  and that sugar skull fabric is one of my favorites too.  I loooove teaparty's decoupaged purse, and the heart purse from bigfatroses looks really cute too.

Whoops, I received like a week ago, and forgot to post pictures! Here they are, from my partner LmcBride.
A small purse, with bandagey handle and neuron- and cell-inspired fabric:

A blank notebook with anatomy images and quotes:

Very cool bookmarks with histology images, foil, and copper tape:

And my favorite, an awesome, super-bright and colorful painting:

Thanks again Lmcbride and our fabulous organizer! This was fun!

Favorite moment of the year?  That commercial when m8888888 dropped her towel and jumped naked into the arms of Tony Danza.

Because Elensule is away at school and her box took soooooooo looooooong to get there, I am posting pics of what I sent her.

A huge squashy pillow shaped like lungs. It is made of the softest fleece ever and is about 2 ft tall.

A heart pouch I embroidered that had to be ripped out of my hands. I think it was about 6 inches by 10 inches. I lined it and added extra layers for padding. I was thinking maybe it would be good for a digital camera or something.

A little wooden drawing model for when she meeds to be anatomically correct. I couldn't help myself-I painted a little heart on his chest!

And there were some other things I forgot to get photos of:

A white blood cell and a red blood cell stuffies. They are just the right size for pincusions or just for being cute! I also included a anatomy sticker book an anatomy coloring book and some candy.

I hope you like all of it when you get home for Christmas!!!! Merry Christmas!
