I was at the Wal-Mart with my dad, trying to avoid being seen in case someone I knew was there, when I spotted that some lovely green and white faux fur was on sale! It had been there FOREVER but I never had the guts to buy it make my dad buy it before. But with it on sale it was just too tempting!

I decided to make a yeti. I say that he's an Irish yeti, because he's green and all.

I don't know if you can really get a good idea of his size from this. He's the biggest plush I've ever made. It took me all night to make him. Literally. I started around 7:30 PM and finished around 5:00 AM. The fabric was too bulky to fit into my sewing machine, so he was completely hand sewn.  Lips sealed

A detail shot of his face. His face, beard, claws, and antlers were made out of felt and topstitched together. The antlers have a coat hanger in them to make them stick out straight, but I haven't found that this is too effective. They still are kinda floppy.

A picture of me and my buddy! His name is simply Yeti (creative, I know). He loves to watch TV, especially weird shows that come on late at night. Since that's what I was doing at the time while sewing him, I figure it's ingrained in his stitches.

Thanks for looking! Comments and criticism are appreciated!

you should make him a top hat.

If I could buy the world a coke, then I would say "SCREW YOU WORLD" and go buy more fabric.

I've been told that several times. I love that book, but I didn't see the resemblance  until someone pointed it out!
