Hey everybody!  (Hi Dr. Nick! side joke)

I made this sock monkey for my partner in the Zombie Swap and I'm really proud of it.  There was a fair amount of help from my bf with it too.  He's usually the one who pushes my crafts to that new frontier.

Here's a full picture of her (yes its a her)

Close-up of the shrinky-dink ribcage

Close-up of the face, the eye was a conflict between my bf and myself

To make sure she is not mistaken as a boy hehe

Half-eaten ear

Her braaaiiinnnsss

Oh yeah did I mention the ribcage is removable?  And what is that inside?

First the lungs, she was definitely not a smoker

Her black heart, she is a zombie now (Oh and those are my partner's initials engraved)

What's else is in there?

Ewww...its her intestines!

Even more, I mean, its the intestines, they are really long!

There's the colon and surprise! A banana!  She's a monkey, duh!

Hope you enjoyed, sorry for all the pictures!

Thanks!

My bf took some shrinky dink that was leftover from another project and starting cutting it into the shape of a ribcage.  Then we cooked it with the other shrinkies I was working on.  Its small but cartoonish, which is what he wanted.  I wanted to attach it to her hand but I liked his idea better.

Oooooo...my sock monkeys are scared of your monkeys!

Great job, in a weird and wacky sort of way.

Call Wes Craven - I bet he has a part for your monkey in his next movie.

Awesome zombie/monkey goodness! I love her! And the interactive element seems morbidly fun. Cheesy
