My landlords are super uptight and actually specified in my contract that I could only make two nail holes per room.  I cheated and put three in the living because I figure if I average two per room, I'm still safe.  And I count the stair landing as a room.  As a result, I've worked up a couple of very large projects. 

The first (and my favorite) is a triptych of the London Eye.  I have a slight obsession with things British.  They're each 36x36 inches and painted with black acrylic.  I used Rasterbator to help get the scale right.


 






My office / craft disaster room has two things.  The first is just a huge collection of photos, postcards, and ticket stubs I've come across in my travels.  They're masking-taped to the wall.





The second is a huge U.S. map I bought from a school supply store.  I put it in a frame I already had and I use it to track my Etsy sales.  It got accidentally steamed one day and the paper rippled, but it still works for its purpose.





In my bedroom are two huge prints of some photos my dad took at Pike Street Market.  They're in some cheap frames from Ikea.

I love all of those, I have been on the london eye, and you really captured the sort of hard bigness of it (that does n't really make sence I know), the photos are so colourful, I bet prints would sell well. The postcards look really eclectic, and I like the idea of tracking your etsy sales, I might do that for mine.

The paintings are just stunning and I love the Pike Market pics your father took! I'm thankful that my landlord isn't that uptight about the walls. He just won't let me paint them. lol

I love the London Eye ones! I took almost the exact same photo of the last one. =) Very nice idea, they look great. Also, being a native Washingtonian, OF COURSE I love the Pike ones as well! Your father really captured the feeling of the market! =)

It looks great!  All of them.  I honestly can't pick a favorite.    It sucks when landlords are so uptight.  I have some friends whose last one (they just bought a house) allowed NO holes or hangings what-so-ever.  Something that I did when I was still renting (just for future reference) was to build a frame or put up one large plyboard sheet and hang those with a couple nails.  Then I attached numerous hooks and pictures to those.  It also allowed me to paint the board and frames colors that made everything else pop.

One way to escape that two hole nonsense is 3m products!  I love how they work and they don't leave a mark.  There are several different kinds and even some to hang pics.  I mostly live in military housing but now we are renting.  For me, the less holes the better when it's time to get our deposit back when we move out, but I still want my home to feel like a home.
