While getting my craftspace set up I came across some very old craft magazines.  I was flipping through and found a cute pattern for a puppy that I thought maybe I could make.  So I made this:

I like it so much that I decided to make another, then another and yet another...well....t hey were coming out of the woodwork.lol.  Here is a group photo of some of them.  The rest got adopted.

Funny thing is that each one came out different and they were very very hard to sew on the machine.  The fleece is very thick.  Silly little things but I like them.
Now I understand the attraction to stuffies.

Aww so cute! They actually remind me of bunnies more than puppies though, I think it's the ears.

Thank you everyone.  My goodness.  I promise that the article said that it is a puppy.lol.  Must be my sewing.  It is my first try after all.
The "puppy" has wrinkle eyes.  I pulled down the forehead with a string of embroidery thread down and under and tightened it to get the wrinkled effect.
Bunny huh?

Thank you everyone!!!  This is such a great community.
qazicat, I'm not sure if it's a pug but that name sure comes to mind.  More of those dogs from I think China with all of the wrinkles...I just didn't make it wrinkly enough.  The fleece was very thick.
Panda, you are great!!!  Thank you for all of your advice.  Took the little puppies outside to take their picture.lol.  The bathtub belongs to my DD's toys that have been left behind for better\newer toys.  I love miniatures.
kimmy_sue05, Yes it is.lol thanks!!!
mamarose22,  Thank you. It used to have a curtain around it too that has disappeared with the years.lol.

Aaahhh!!! The Bathtub is hysterical!
I always thought they were doggies. This guy definitely looks like a pug or bulldog. Such a funny face.   He looks like this --> Angry
LOl  Grin
It would be so easy to alter that pattern to make similar cats or bunnies.

Hahaha, that is so funny sactownsue!!!  I'm sure the pattern can be altered, I've just not gotten that advanced at this yet.
Funny thing is that I changed my sewing foot (I'm really bad at hand sewing) from the regular foot to the zipper foot just cause the fabric was so thick so each one came out different...one fat, one little, etc.

Interesting. I haven't had much experience with puppy litters but don't we all come out a little different anyway? That's what make the world so interesting. "No two exactly alike."
In case you don't know and assuming your machine has the ability don't forget to adjust the pressure on the presser foot. With my "vintage" machine that is done at the top of the machine, to handle different thicknesses of fabric.

I agree with you sactownsue, it's just that they slightly came out like almost different species and I don't mean the rabbit look alike.lol.  Well, it's a learning experience.  That's why I made another and another.  They were simple, fun and each one came out different.lol
My machine has a cool to thingie.. I can sew without any tension at all but still the fabric was very high. (A gift from DH so I don't want to mention low budget)
I could sew but still very difficult to maneuver the curves and "V's".

First I'd like to apologize for not giving proper credit to the makers of this pattern.  I just don't understand yet what is allowed in giving out that type of info.  I'll learn.  I'd love to share and very much like to see other people making use of things I post after all I get so much inspiration from this site.  I appreciate your patience and support.

The puppy pattern is in a magazine called:  "Needlecraft for Today".
It is the March\April 1983 issue pg. 15. I believe that the by line is:  Barbara Williams.
If anyone would like to PM me for more information, please feel free to do so.

I have some confusion about that too. Like how long is a copyright good for? I don't want the cheat the creator out of their due but if a copyright is expired or out of print it would still be nice to share with others.
