hey everybody!

i just started doing advertising for my blog (which features handmade and indie goodies). and i wanted to get some feedback on whether of not the image is inticing enough to make you want to click on it. the ad is the same image as my avatar, but you can see my ad on the left hand-side of this site (where the project wonderful ads are).

thanks in advance for looking. let me know your opinion

I like the simple graphics you used, but I have to admit I've never been a fan of white lettering on a light colored background. It makes it harder to read, then again maybe it is just my aging eyes. Goodluck with your blog!

i actually like the lettering.  I think black would make it blend with the background or make it look too bumble beeish.  Maybe hott pink lettering would make it stand out?  I think it looks nice the way it is now though:)

I think your blog looks really good & professional!

I've actually come across it before, I think you were asking for submissions to get featured or something on Etsy?!

I like add, the font & colours but maybe without the photo background, i find it abit distracting!

Good luck!

I agree with Circlesofstone - I don't like the white lettering. If you made the image in PhotoShop you can use the Blending Options and either add a black drop shadow or do a Bevel and Emboss. That way, the lettering will stand out more  Smiley

I do like your blog - great pictures!

Thanks for the feedback everyone. I have changed the ad to make it more appealing...simplified the background but didn't change the font color. I thought about it, but decided that I liked the white font. What do you think of this one.

Seems a bit hard to read with all the light colors.  Undecided

I'm sorry - I like this new one less than the other one because now all your colors are light and everything just bleeds together. Sorry  Sad
