He's very cute!  I love the stripe. Did you make this up or use a pattern?  I love his wide eyed look.

Thanks!  I made it up as I went along.  I started with I cord, then increased until I made a trumpet-shaped tube and stuffed and coiled it to make the shell, then made a slug-shaped tube for the body and sewed them together.  The eye stalks are just crochet chain with wire threaded through, so they're posable.

Thanks for the tip on the pictures, knittinfiasco.  I tried using the photobucket widget and forgot to check to make sure it worked.  All fixed now!
