What a lucky little one!  How did you learn to quilt like that?  I've been wanting to learn...

Knew when I saw this in the project pics this was your work! You have inspired me with this technique, and I may use it again also.

This quilt is so beautiful, and bright. Smiley

this may seem like a silly question but how did you do the lettering? I have looked at millions of applique tuts and I just don't get it! help?

Smiley  Thanks for all the nice comments!

These letters were way easy - but they aren't true appliqu.  I was going for a slightly ragged-y look.  All I did was fuse some wunder-under onto the fabric and draw out my letters (backwards) freehand.  Then I cut them out, peeled off the paper and ironed them on.  I did a bit of stitching around the perimeter or each letter.  For the clouds I used heat-n-bond since I didn't want to stitch on them at all.

Such a cute quilt! I like how it's not such a traditional quilt... Quite frankly, if I was a baby again - I think I'd want a bit of pizazz!  Cheesy Great job!

You should totally win Crafter of the Year Award. Your work amazes me. I love the quilt. It's super awesome. If you wanna do a practice one (I know, you are supposed to do these before you make real one) then I don't mind if you do one for my kids  Grin I LOVE IT!!!
