My name is Molly and I have a problem, I'm a fabric hoarder. I particularly love Heather Ross' fabric lines and when she released some of her out of print gnomes through Spoonflower I had to buy some in every color.

Since, I new my first instinct would be to save, save, save them; I made myself start cutting! I have been teaching myself how to quilt for a few months now, but I had not yet finished anything. I wanted something nice and quick that would show off the prints and since the colors also matched an empty wall in my living room a wall-hanging seemed the perfect thing.

I used some other fabrics from my stash and indulged my love of all things pink and girly.

Here is a close-up of the really bad first-timers attempt at free-motion quilting.

Here it is filling an empty wall in my living room!

Thanks for looking!

awesome!  now you need to make a few more in smaller sizes to fill the rest of the wall with more cute gnomes!

How stinking cute is that!  I'm going to have to see if I can find some super cute gnome fabric like that.  Love it!

Adorable! Love it! And how wonderful that it matched your wall! It was a match made in fabric heaven! (which is where I would like to live all the time)  Grin
