I'm crocheting a baby bear! Does anyone want to join me? It's a very small but nice project which doesn't take long!

Here is the pattern:

In English
In German

There are also many photos of different bears. They are all so cute!

I'm using a multi color yarn and I've just finished the head.

Greetings from Cologne

So here is my result ... Not perfect, but I hope, the person who receives it will be happy with it anyway. Perhaps someone else like to try out now?

I'm going to try this little bear ... keyword being "try"!  I've been looking for something to do with some leftover #10 thread and I've always wanted to make something tiny (other than the 5 million snowflakes I have made).  I'll post a pic when I'm done - even if it comes out a little crazy!

So - I made the little bear today - she didn't turn out as badly as I was expecting (she's not really as lopsided as she looks in the picture!), but my hands are hurting from those tiny stitches.  I took a few liberties putting it together and changing the face a bit.

This is a crappy picture, but it shows how little she is ...

I think I will name her Petunia (for no particular reason).  It's always interesting how one pattern can look so different when made by different people!  Thanks for the inspiration Moonrise, it was fun, but ... I don't think my hands can handle too much of that.  I think I will move on to bigger crocheted animals now!!

Yippieee, finally someone has made the little bear  Cheesy I think he or she looks very cute. Nevertheless, usually I prefer to make bigger animals too (especially amigurumi style). This particular project was a present for someone who longed for such a tiny bear but can't crochet herself. How could I say no ...  Roll Eyes

Those are totally awesome!  You went bear crazy ... I can't handle such little crochet, it just killed my hands.  You did a really great job - They look so much more like they are supposed to look then mine does!  Micro Monique is too cool!!
