My boyfriend has told me that my yarn stash is taking over the house and that I have to use up what I've got before I buy anymore! He does have a point so I have agreed.

I had some odd balls of chunky yrn and loads of cheap acrylic which I got from my Mom.

So I decided to make the princess snowball cat bed from Stitch n Bitch. I used 7mm needles and 4 strands of yarn for most of it so it's got some interesting colour combos! It's not the prettiest thing I've ever made but I think it will be well used in the winter.

My cat, Rocky climbed in before I could weave in the ends!

And my kitten, Leon tried it out before I had even sewn the parts together!

So I think it is a hit with them Cheesy

What a great idea! It looks comfy, and I mean obviously the cats like it - Mission Accomplished!

That's a good excuse to buy more yarn. Grin

BTW, Rocky seems to look exactly like my cat, Bisha.

oh your cat looks like he loves his new bed. I made one of the kitty pi and even enlarged it but my cats butt still sticks out. Yours looks much more friendly in sleeping then mine. Excellent kitty momma work.

Cool! I love the patchwork look of it. I actually just bought some yarn to make one of those.

Also, cute kitties.  Smiley
