After completing my dress form, and spending a couple of days staring at it, I decided it wasn't complete after all. I still felt the urge to cover it in fabric, and so I did! This is the before, in case you're interested:

I covered it in a soft yellow fabric I had leftover from a quilt I'm working on. I used a glue gun to attach the fabric to the duct tape, and then I did some blatant stiches with white thread to sew each piece to the next, in a patchwork kind of way. I wanted to give the impression that the whole thing was stitched together out of different scraps, and it turned out wonderfully!
Then I decided that since it's supposed to be my torso, I should add my tattoos. Out came the fabric paint, and I painted my tattoos on two bits of fabric. Then I glued and sewed them on to the dress form. It's like I patched my skin with some other, more decorated skin.

Here are some pictures!

This is the front of the dress form:

A close up of the dress form's tattoo. I tried to make it look destroyed by stretch marks, lol:

The actual hip tattoo, actually destroyed by pregnancy related stretch marks:

Very cute! And yay for tattoos. I don't want mine to be ruined by pregnancy =( At least the ones on my hips aren't my very favorite tattoos. Anyway your dress form looks awesome.
