I am not sure if this is the correct place to post this.  I thought about posting it as a reused item; I thought about posting it as a paper craft; I finally decided to post it here.  I used one small U-Haul box to create these two storage boxes.

My inspiration came from another craftster project.  Here is a link:  http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=177297.0

Here is my version.  This is one side of the storage box I made for my knitting/crocheting magazines.  I painted the box and decoupaged a picture of a vintage knit.

This is the other side where I also painted and decoupaged a picture of a crochet top.

Finally, the magazine storage box that I made for my beading magazines.  This one I did not paint.  I just tore out pictures from my favorite beading catalog and decoupaged the whole thing.  It was fun!!

I am really happy with these boxes, especially since I have been trying to organize my craft room all summer long.  What do you think??

I really like the bead one - very colourful!

I've been trying to organise my room as well and I had great plans of making my own magazine files - but I'm afraid I was in Aldi last eek and they had 6 POTC files with Johnny Depp on them, I just couldn't say no! Smiley
