I realize that Christmas is still months away, but I'm quite excited about this idea.  Grin Would anyone be interested in a kitschy Christmas swap in which we'd swap Christmas crafts inspired by the 50s through the 70s? Tinsel trees, needlepoint santas, macreme stockings, snowmen made out of styrofoam balls--all things wonderfully tacky!

I'd be more than willing to organize if enough people want to do it. Just let me know if you're interested! Here is what I'm thinking:

--I'd like this to be a smallish swap since the holiday season is such a hectic time. Size requirements would be a medium and two smalls.
--Signups could be from October 10 through 24th.
--Sendouts could be November 28th. (That's the day after Thanksgiving in the US.) This will give everyone a little over a month to craft their items and all of December to enjoy their new Christmas goodies.

Anyone interested? I know I am.  Grin

I think this would be fun but I'm going to have to chose carefully from the many holiday swaps I see floating around. Once details get posted for all of them I'll have a better idea of my time.

I have a few 60's and 70's holiday craft books that I just love! I think this swap would be perfect for me to make all those kitschy things I love but my family thinks are weird Wink

Of course!  What's not to love about making and receiving kitschy Christmas decorations?! Grin
