I wanted to knit a thong for some reason and I really liked this one: Frecklegirl Thong Minus the leafy lace. And then of course I had to make a matching top. The yarn is a mystery yarn I got from eBay but it feels like a wool-acrylic mix. I have no idea how the top fits because I just got it done today, the cups look a little small but it's not like it needs much coverage for what it is.

My husband said the pattern on the bottoms in front is very suggestive. Hahaha!!  Cheesy

Most knit lingerie I have seen, I've been on the fence about.

This I really like.  It is the first thing that I have seen that has inspired me to want to try my own.

Great work.   Cheesy

It was fairly easy and I basically followed the pattern of the thong except my gauge was about a stitch smaller. And the cups are the same exact size and amount of stitches as the bottom front. Hopefully I wrote it up correct. There were some spots I wasn't counting how many stitches I had or what I was doing, like on the back of the thong, so if anyone is confused by it, please let me know.

My gauge = 7sts per inch on size 2 needles.

I'm not exactly sure how much yarn I used but I had a very small...maybe 3 or 4 oz ball and I didn't even make it halfway into it. I don't know how to do size adjustments but the finished measurements of my pieces are the following:

Front of thongs and cups - 7.5" wide across top, 7" long.
They're both a skimpy fit but the thongs are the same size as a pair of regular thongs I have in a size Small, and the cups can just make it with my top. But it's about a size Medium.

Enjoy!  Grin
