Okay. This sucker was a labor of love (emphasis on the "labor" part).  I made up the pattern (after several unsuccessful prototypes) as I went along.  Click on the thumb-nails for a larger photo.

I knit in Paton's wool (highly recommended for felting), applied iron-on appliques and a 30" knit i-cord.
