this is the first sweater i have knit for myself.
i got the idea from http://polo.imageg.net/graphics/product_images/pPOLO2-4124703_standard_v330.jpg
but i didnt want to make it the regular knit sweater so i found the pattern for these gorgeous leaves from a knitting book.
so heres what came out:

The sweater is beautiful and flattering.  I really like it with the belt, and I am very impressed that you made that without a pattern!
Did you base the shape on another sweater pattern?
