You crack me up.  I admit it was fun to make though I was very surprised at how small it is -- the pictures of it in the tutorial made it seem much larger.  To that end, my lovely daughter cut some 3 inch squares for me so I could make a little larger version.  I have become sidetracked with work, though, so one of these weekends I will have to get busy and try to make one that's a little larger.  I did enjoy the one I made for bk, though.  It sat on my desk for a week or so before I sent it off with various office-y supplies in it.  (Office-y is an adjective in the form created by quilted in her recent patchworky post.)

Since I am out of town, I cannot post pics of the GREAT Beatrix Potter themed swap package I received from BK!  You will all wist if you like Mrs. Tiggywinkle!  More on THAT subject (complete with pics) when I get home!

I'm a little late n getting this pic up, but here's the great pillowcases I got from Therisa - they are really cute and have glowing in the dark stitching!  Thank you!

I received Beatrix Potter inspired craftiness from bkrenning4!  If you like Mrs. Tiggy-Winkle as much as I do, you will want to get your wisting fingers ready:

First, a picture done in watercolor pencil!  Tiggy is the penultimate washerwoman!

You can see the new additions to my library as well:  The Tales of  - Jeremy Fisher, -Squirrel Nutkin, - Two Bad Mice (another favorite of mine), - and, of course, Peter Rabbit!

Next you see a sweet piece of embroidery.  Mrs. Tiggy-Winkle's perserverance (and prickly exterior) are much in evidence here!

Isn't she something?  I always imagined myself to be Lucie who has the good fortune to meet Mrs. Tiggy-Winkle, takes tea and finds  her lost pocket handkerchiefs and pinney laundered by Tiggy!  Smiley

Finally, BK sent me some GREAT pendants made from shrink plastic and images from Potter stories:

I think the mice in the shoes and candle light pendants are from The Tailors of Glouscester.  The others are Jeremy Fisher, and of course Peter's mother and her GOOD rabbit babies.  Doesn't she look startled, like What are you doing in my den?  Smiley

I love this swap package!  Thank you so much, K!

I also received from Therisa! She sent me a surprise bellydancing package from her travels -

A face veil like the one in her avatar (I've forgotten the name for it!)

A cotton scarf hand dyed in Eygpt

Metal medallions for incorporating into my costumes

And a red crocheted scarf from Belgium

Thanks Therisa!!  Grin

I love all the Mrs Tiggywinkle stuff. I'm super impressed if they are hand drawn but either way they are cute.
