I just ran across some pics I thought I'd share. I picked up an old hanging lamp shade for a few bucks at a thrift store, disassembled it by melting the old solder with a soldering iron (fun!), laying out new patterns, and resoldering things back together.

I used some crafting wire for hangers and such, as well as a metal doo-dad in the blue one.

What an awesome idea! I love them! The blue one is my favorite. I have wanted to learn stained glass for a while, but our apartment isn't the best place to start that hobby (Lampwork is bad enough Embarrassed). This however is something that I could do without getting shards of glass stuck in my daughters feet. They are beautifull! thanks for sharing Smiley

We abuse land because we regard it as a commodity belonging to us. When we see land as a community to which we belong, we may begin to use it with love and respect.
