PHEW!

Queen Jane, I'm so glad you like it.  I was worried it might be a bit "much".  And I spent a fair amount of time on it seeing as how I decided at the end of each step that it needed something more.

Conversations in my house while making it:
"Kristyn what are you knitting?"
"A flower pin...I KNOW it doesn't look like a flower, that's because it's only a petal.  I'm knitting all the petals and then connecting them."

days pass
"What are you doing now?"
"Beading the centre, it looked plain with just the white centre I had originally planned for."

more time passes
"Are you STILL not done?"
"I'm adding wire to the petals so they don't lay flat.  I needed to add some dimension to it."

an hour or so later
"What NOW???"
"I can't leave the wire exposed!!! Sheesh!  I'm covering the back with felt!"

At that point, I realized I had really had to stop working on the pin and just stick it in the mail.  lol...I can't be the only one who has problems stopping when working on an item.   Roll Eyes

I got the pin from lilmissdogooder two days ago.  I absolutely LOVE it!  So original...I wore it to school yesterday and got so many comments.

Thanks!

Friggin' awesome!  I'm so glad you liked it!  I have made a ton of these.  I also made a barrette for one of my swaps.  Woohoo!  Got to love trashy romance comics!

Here are my awesome pins from PrettyKitty735!

It's more red in real life than in this pic. It lives on my purse now :-)

My roommate wanted to steal the polka dot one. But it is mine all MINE! The felt one goes with my fav. scarf.

Thanks again for the great pins!

Here finally is a pic of the great pins that RachOfTheJungle sent me:

I don't know if you can tell that the one in the upper right corner is made of ties.  I really like all the buttons, too.  Thanks again!
