This is going to be my sister's birthday present.  It's nothing fancy because it's my first project with double pointed needles.  Her ipod is pink, so I hope it matches!

I made some of these for my friends and myself too!  I crocheted mine though.  It pretty much would look the same in pictures.  I like it crocheted because you can stick your head phone jack through the holes on the crocheted cozie.

Hi Dinah_Kay-

The pattern is super easy.

I used leftover yarn, GGH Goa* and some pretty hand-painted cotton yarn for the accent.

For an iPod Mini:

Cast on 21 Stitches total on three 9 (5.5mm) double pointed needles (7 stitches per needle)
Join the round and knit until desired length - I think that'll be somewhere around 24 rounds
Before you cast off, add a lifeline** in your accent yarn, leaving long tails
Bind off, weave in ends.
Hand sew one end together, making sure bow will be in the center when the iPod is in place
Tie your bow!

Post a picture when you're done Smiley

I just made one for my non-mini ipod (cast on 24 total stitches, 8 per needle).  I didn't use a bow on mine, but wove in accent yarn up each side like so:

I have two more pictures of this one on http://flickr.com/photos/teenytinyturkey/.

Hi all.

Am new to crafting & crafster & wanted to post some of my 1st projects. Had a friend teach me to knit a few weeks back then with the help of the web (& some helpful advice from my friend Christine) taught myself to crochet. My inspiration was Sock Moneys (can't get enough of that Monkey stuff).

Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong? I've uploaded my pic to the crafster photo hosting thingy & put the shortcut in my message but I still can't see naught.
