I made my cozy the other day.  I kinda took ideas from all the posts on this board.  I love everyone's cozies, I think that I may need to make more!  Thanks for all the ideas!

The windows don't line up perfectly, but it still works.  And I made a pocket on the back for my headphones.

Oh, I'll join the fun too!

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v12/tabithaspike/ipod-p.jpg

I CO 18 st and knit in St st till it was the right length. Enough to cover my ipod with a flap. I made sure there was a button hole too, but for my boyfriends I just sewed on a button and gave him velcro for the closure.

I picked up 12 st. from the back for the earphone pocket. I like it, its comfy and keeps my ipod from getting brutalized in my bag. I made another one that I hatehatehate because it wasnt long enough, but after seeing some ideas here I think ill add an i-cord and use it as a necklace type one. Hurray!

That’s because you’re a part of something larger. Like
being swallowed… by something larger.

wow! all of these ipod cozies rock. i'm going to knit a cool one for myself, but in the meantime, i was wondering if anybody had a really quick simple pattern that i could use? my school is having a fair to raise money for the tsunami victims, and all the clubs get booths. i'm in the computer club, and we decided to knit (large # of knitters in comp. club) ipod/ipod mini/cell phone covers. we're also making jewelry out of old keyboards, i think...anyway, if anybody knows of a site or has a pattern, that would be great.

Hey, that's cool.
Here's my iHoodie that I knitted. I've created the pattern as a PDF that I can e-mail people, but I'm selling the pattern for $5 on eBay to finance my yarn habit. Or just experiment and figure it out yourself!

So do I buy it off ebay? Or can you just email it to me?

Check out Miss Julie's pattern below. What a very great fundraiser for your school. I'll best you could get some donations here on craftster if you ask!

I knit a forest green one with some ribbing, red stiching and an old pearly button. My cam, sadly, isn't working but I can assure you that it does rule.

Oops! I made another!

It's totally addictive and I can't stop thinking of new and clever ways to cozy my iPod! (It'll start looking like one of those grumpy and put-upon little dogs who hate to wear sweaters soon, won't it! LOL!)

Anyway here it is:

The pattern - what little there is to it - is here.
