OK, so I know this has been done before, but...I'm still really really excited!
Here's the shoes before:

and after! yay (they're just covered with pictures from magazines):

I just used Elmer's Glue (because I'm lazy) and then sprayed them with varnish so they won't fall apart...
what do you think? I wore them out once (in the rain...) but no major damage...so, I'm happy.
comments would be very very much appreciated

Pretty! Let us know how they hold up - I'm interested in doing decoupage to a pair of ballet flats and would love to see how yours hold up. Smiley

Very Nice!!   How do the heels look?  Did you just cut varied photos, etc from magazines?  Would love to try this.  Have 9 Wide shoes, and they don't come in a lot of pretty styles.  This would be fun.  Thanks for sharing.

So far I've worn them a couple times and they've held up fine, with small amounts of cracking and peeling near the bottom, but not a lot...I'd love to see yours when you finish!

here's a picture of one of the heels...the glue isn't quite dry, it doesn't look all white and gross now =)
yeah, I just cut random pictures from magazines...I ended up doing about 4 layers of glue and pictures before everything was covered.

I have the opposite problem as you, my feet are tiny! Also can't find a lot of styles =)

anyway, thanks everyone!!!

I'm a dabbler.  I know just a bit about almost everything, but expert at nothing.  Working on that though.
