what size are the rivets that you use? also have you tried it with a rubber strap?Huh i heard they arnt that great. but anyways I LOVE IT!!! I would so pay 90 bucks for it.

well i use the small thin rivets to attach everything together. and to cover the holes in the plates i use the bigger rivets that are like 1/4 of an inch. i have thought about using the rubber strap but i heard that the rubber causes your hand to smell. but i will try it one of these days.

what a great idea, I've been keeping my sentimental license plates for years so I could make an lp purse of my own, they're just too cool to give up
(I had a green 96 Neon w/plates that said "TV EYE 7", I kind of love Iggy Pop & boy did I think I was cool. A cop who pulled me over once asked if I really liked to watch tv & that's why I had them, Ha!)

well a good size is between 6 and 7 inches. and i suggest you get moon hubcaps. they are easier to work with since they have a thicker lip. but any kind will do as long as they have a lip on them to attach the rivet.s
