So many ideas, so little time...

(I'm not sure this qualifies as a recon, if I should move it let me know...)

I recently made my niece a pair of beach pants from a couple of clearance beach towels - http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=255394.0  and
someone posted that they wondered if they could get away with an adult pair, which I thought was a great idea, so I made myself some   Smiley:

Next time, I think I'll add a side seam so I can add more fullness through the seat-there was quite a bit of towel width left. Or...they could be made to capri-length. I wonder if I could get a pair from one towel that way...hmmm

Anyway, these are very comfortable and a great cover-up for the beach or pool.

That is so cool!

I haven't worked up the nerve to tackle pants yet... something about the way the seams are boggles my mind. I've only reconstructed something already made... lol

They are very nice but you need a surger machine to make the seams strong or they won't last
