This looks a lot of fun, and I would appreciate the longer crafting time. Off to fill in my questionaire!

so what kind of fairy tale shows did you all watch growing up?

I use to watch:
Jim Henson's The Storyteller (disney channel)
Grimm's Fairy Tale Classics (nick jr)
Long Ago and Far Away (PBS)

just to name a few Smiley

I was/am more into books than tv shows, but either I'm really younger than I thought or I didn't watch much tv because I don't remember any of those shows. Lol. I don't really remember any fairy-tale tv shows actually.

I always read books on old religions. My family is scottish, so celtic myths and stories were passed around. Have you guys seen Hoodwinked?

Moonfall- man i feel old now...but then again, I love classic "old school' kid shows Wink
Grim's fairy tales was a really great series. it dove into stories from all around the world and tried its best to keep to them while being kid friendly

Long Ago and Far Away was just brilliant. No story was animated the same style, and it was hosted by James Earl Jones Cheesy Also one of my favorite voice actress,Tammy Grimes, told the stories.

you can't be that old? You look so young in that photo! And I feel old. I went to the breaking dawn party and there were so many little teens and pre-teens there, it was insane. Luckilly I found people around my age (18-22) so it wasn't bad, but I was like "woah, now I know how my brother feels" (he's 32, and I think he's mad at me because I jokingly called him old on his birthday.)

Hey, I just checked.. you're not much older than me! I must have just missed those shows. Lol

; yeah, I am only 22. When I was little, my grandmother was nice enough to record all these shows for me to enjoy. Now that I am older, I see why. These classic shows have a lot more depth and larger vocabularies. A shame years from now few will remember them or have the chance to be pasted down. Cry

I think I'll try to check out some of those shows, even though I'm probably older than both of you put together. Cheesy
Has anyone watched the mini-series from a few years ago called the 10th kingdom, or search for the 10th kingdom (something like that).  It was just awesome and our whole family from little kids to, um "older people"  ;)watched iit and loved it.  It features a fantastic wolf character as well as just about every other well-known fairy tale you can think of.

I LOVE the 10th Kingdom. I still have all the dvds of that show. One of the best mini-series shows ever. I <3 wolf. ^.^ My parents loved it to. I watched every part of it when it originally aired.. I was probably like 11 too.
