Wanna be Anthropologie

Hi everyone!


This is my attempt at imitating an Anthropologie vest I saw ages ago.  I have pics of the original inspiration on my blog:

and other details including sketchy pattern notes.  I used Patons SWS, and I'll have to leave you all with a warning: just don't use it.  I found it really itchy.

Too bad about the itchiness, it's a really nice-looking vest.  You did a great job on it.  Looks like a good layering garment, though so, not too much will have to touch your skin.  And maybe it will soften up a bit with washing (maybe some conditioner in with the wash?).

Gorgeous!  Sorry about the itchy yarn, but maybe you could knit it with another kind, and while you are at it, write up a pattern...  hint, hint...     You know, if you need it in another color...
