No DC# as it was posted internally within Australia. I suggested she should send a copy of the receipt to bruisedpeach22, but I don't know what's happened after that.

I guess that explains the delay.  I know when I send stuff to my pen pal in France it does take a while to get there.  USPS takes 4 to 6 weeks and sometimes longer, even by plane.  They no longer send mail by ship, although it might seem they do take the slow boat to China.

Actually.... it was a posting from Australia to Australia. No DC# as we don't have them - well, there's Registered Post, but as far as I understand you have to pay postage + the registered post fee + another fee for the #DC. My calculations suggest that adds another $3.55 to the price of sending the smallest possible size... which more than triples the postage. Boo.

Has everyone posted a picture of their swap goodies??? For some reason I feel this gallery is rather empty.

More cute things have been posted. My laptop has been in the shop for 6 weeks now and it makes it difficult to get online, so when I get to get on I find all kinds of fun things to look at and be jealous of! I was sad to hear that there were flakers in this swap, so I hope everything turns out well.

I was surprised there were flakers in such a little one-medium-item-only swap.  I just don't understand people.

Kittenwrangler, I really hope your item turns up.

Here is the adorable and useful wallet I recieved from kantha_stich

Note the amazing fabric and cute button.

Here it is partially opened. It is sewn straight (amazingly straight) I folded it funny.

This is the whole wallet open. It has 2 useful card pockets.

It is perfect for occasions when I won't need my "official" wallet and want to travel light.

Thanks kantha_stich!

I'm so so sorry for not putting piccos up before now, but here is my delightful new friend from PeachesEveryday! (weird coincidence that I'm posting this straight after her posting!) One of my themes was giraffes, so a delightful young lady giraffe to keep Sid, one of my plants, company!

anyhoo.... here she is:

aaaand another view....

I'll try to get some better pics in daylight at some point - alas, I had problems getting pics onto my computer from my camera, so I had to get my boyfriend to do it... and he only just got around to it... at 10.30 this evening  Roll Eyes typical!

Anyhoo - thank you so much, I love her!
