Loved one in the United States Military Swap

 Hey all,
    I am a long line military family and I know there are a bunch of us here on Craftsters that are also...How about a small military craft ? 2 MED  2 smalls start signups in Oct and send Dec we can have them for Christmas if we want to give them as gifts...


  YOur loved one does not need to be in you could be crafting for a firend or neighbor for the holiday....

This will be COAST GUARD, MARINES, NAVY, AIR FORCE or Army NATIONAL GUARD and all items will be crafted around the service your partner is wanting...You will craft ONLY 1 service....

Anyway, I was thinking about taking a swapping hiatus, but if this swap comes to fruition, I'm totally in!  My hubbsicle will be deploying soon, so I'll need some crafty military love to get me through.

My baby brother joined the Marines not to long ago.  If life is treating me good enough for sign ups I'm in.

hi all - my hubby is retired Marines after 21 years active duty and going through, among other things, Viet Nam, Panama, Grenada, and first time around in Iraq. While he is no longer in the military - too old and physically a mess - "once a Marine, always a Marine!" is quite true!

Plus, he is very active with the VFW, ie, Veterans of Foreign Wars. VERY active - as in this is the first year he is not an officer of this town's post since he retired in 1995, he's a life member, he's in his second year as Commander of this District, he is a lower officer of some sort for the Iowa state level VFW and they are trying to talk him into some thing or other at national level to boot.

think we can count him? 

He would be so tickled to get something in a box in the mail for him, since almost everything in a box is NOT for him, LOL! Like a stenciled T-shirt or something for his "war wall" or his award shelf.
