LOL so i call this my slut dress only because its a) the shortest dress i own =d  and b) I shortened the hem about.. 5 inches from the original pattern.

I used Simplicity 5112, but i modified it a LOT [since i used stretchy fabric, i got rid of the zipper, moved the hem up, added a little silver bow]. It was my first time ever working with a pattern, and.. well personally i feel pretty good about it Cheesy

I made this for the season premiere [back WAY when] of America's Best Dance Crew. Since one of the girls on Kaba Modern is one of my school's dance instructors, a whole bunch of us from the dance team went to the live auditions to support her Cheesy since the dress code was "Club wear".. and I dont really own anything particularly clubby... i made a dress! Cheesy so here it is.

I didnt really get any shots of just me... so.. yay for action shots! Cheesy

Nice work - it suits you really well and I don't think you look at all slutty - the shortness isn't a major issue as it's not low-cut Smiley I love the little ribbon!

i agree with the others. i think the dress is super cute! it's just a teensy bit too short, it looks fine when you're standing but i guess you would notice it more when you're sitting. =P
