Joss Whedon Crochetalong (From Crochet Me)

So, Crochet Me has started an epic quest to attempt to score an interview with Joss Whedon (explained at http://crochetme.com/blog/calling-geek-crafters-we-want-interview-joss-whedon-and-we-need-your-help). And what sort of geeky crocheter would I be if I didn't join the fun? I'll be making a Jayne Cobb hat (probably from Crochet Me's pattern, though I might change it up a bit), and I figured I might as well see if anyone was interested in a crochetalong.

I'm in, but I don't know what I'll do yet.  Is there a deadline?  I've never participated in a crochetalong before.

ah! I dunno how I missed this, I just finished watching Dr. Horrible for like the billionth time.  I read the blurb on crochetme!   I wanna do this, but can't even think of crafting 'til after next week.  Is there a deadline?

Awesome, I'm so in! Dr Horrible ftw ^_^ As it's just crafts related to him, I think I'll go out on a limb and figure out a pair of Dr Horrible goggles. Hehehe....

Btw, if anyone else wants to try the same thing I can try and sketch out a pattern.
