Hi, I'm having a food club gathering with the theme of foods that start with B. I'm having a hard time finding a recipe I want to make.

Do you have a recipe that is awesome and starts with B? I'm kind of looking for an appetizerish dish so it's easy to put on a plate and eat while chatting.

So far people are making Bulgoki (sp?), brownies, bangers and mash and something with bacon.

Thanks

1 (16 ounce) can blueberry pie filling

Heat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Place Brie cheese in a baking dish. Pour blueberry pie filling over the top. Bake until hot, about 10 to 15 minutes

Black Bean Dip recipe
1 (11 ounce) can condensed black bean soup
1/4 cup dairy sour cream
1/4 cup minced onion
1 clove garlic, minced

In a medium bowl mash soup. Stir in remaining ingredients except parsley. Cover and chill for 1 hour. Spoon into a serving bowl. Garnish with parsley.

"Bean Boats"!!

You break taco shells in half (or tostada shells), spread them with refried beans (we use fat free), and sprinkle them with shredded cheese (mozz or taco or whatever you like).  Then put them on a baking sheet and bake them at 350 till the cheese is melted and they are warm....serve w/sour cream, taco sauce, and lettuce....YUM!!!  Easy and delish!  Smiley

So wish I had seen the bacon cup entry before the party. Those are awesome and I will be making them in the future. I went with Brie. It was easy. I'd say the most interesting was bacon brownies with bacon ice cream and a balsamic vinaigrette reduction syrup to top it off. Awesome.
