Firstly, I hope this goes here, but it holds the pencils so im hoping so.

Secondly, I got my inspiration from here: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=39903.0. But I didn't follow the tutorial because I thought it was pretty self explanitory.  Smiley

There is also a tie thing to tie it up when I roll the pencils up, but you can't see it.  Sad

The plaid having straight lines really helped me sewing those nice straight lines. Hahaha.  Tongue

I love the idea and the work comes very well.. Wink
But how to close it? Are you stitch some lace at both sides and using the zipper?

Wanna try it at home...

I have a tie like contraption. I sewed two peices of fabric on the side and you wrap one tie around the whole thing after you roll it up and then you tie the two strings together.

I hope this makes sense. If it doesn't, I'll try to post pictures to show you.
