your best bet is to find one used that is the size you want, tear it apart gently and use that as a pattern. i have paid less than a dollar for a used one before.

aw, that's cute thehappylion!! i actually used t-shirts to make some onesies using the pattern i bought too, just cutting the pieces out of t-shirts instead of fabric!

i'm pretty sure it was this mccalls pattern that i used...
http://www.mccallpattern.com/item/M8574.htm??tab=infants_toddlers_children&page=8

i haven't actually seen the envelope in a while, i copied all the sizes of the onesies onto an old sheet, because i didn't want to cut the pattern (i wanted all the sizes!). they are a bit big, so definitely go for the smaller sizes if you want the baby to wear them in the first 6-8 months! and the hat is HUGE! it's one size, and it definitely won't fit for a while!

i changed the pattern a little bit, instead of using decorative elastic i use strips of the same fabric, like a regular collar, and i used snap tape instead of individual snaps. i bought a bunch of white snap tape and just dyed it to match the fabric.

it's really quick once you've made a few of them and get into the groove!

EDIT: there's a pic of the hat and one of the onesies i made at the bottom of this veeery long blog post!

I found one on etsy! Just thought I would post on here (even though this is a very VERY old post lol). I've been looking for a printable pdf pattern that was more than one or two sizes. This one has quite a few sizes. https://www.etsy.com/listing/127715071/baby-onesie-pattern-nb-36-months-instant.
I found this thread before I found the pattern, so I figured I'd help someone out who might need it.
