This is by far the most insane thing I've ever embroidered.  Just finished it a couple of days ago:



Insane because it's on a t-shirt and I didn't use stabilizer.  It was about 10 hours of work.

The background on it is this:
In high school, my best friend and I silkscreened t-shirts of this image, which is the cover to the Sonic Youth album Goo and is drawn by Raymond Pettibon.  Here's the original:  http://www.artfagcity.com/wordpress_core/wp-content/uploads/2007/10/sonic-youth.jpg

We loved those shirts to death, but that was in 1995, and they are long gone.
So a couple of months ago, my best friend found a Goo shirt for only $3.  It is awesome.  I was so jealous.  So I decided to make my own and up the ante by embroidering it.  I can't wait to wear it!
