This is a shopping bag that I modeled after a bag that I recently got at goodwill and love for it's roominess. It is GIGANTIC... probably the equivalent of 6-8 grocery bags. It is also handy since it folds up to a nice compact size for travel.

Here it is splayed out on the floor

here it is displaying its girth while containing a garbage bag  (mostly) full of clothes to go to goodwill

Here is my hubby modeling it so you can see how large it is

here it is neatly folded up next to a tennis ball for size

I took this thing to target and everything that I bought fit into this one bag... a pillow, a doll, a pack of diapers, and other miscellaneous things...Thanks for looking!

Nice work! Really practical and pretty. I think I'm going to try to make one myself.

Wow. I'm seeing lots of reusable bags on Craftster right now. Great!

Yours is especially pretty. That fabric is fab! Where is it from if it's ok to ask.

It's good too to have a large bag. I make mine in different sizes.

That is the most fantastic thing ever! I really could do with one of those for my charity shop shopping sprees! Might have to craft myself one... I'm sure I have something in my stash.... *goes and searches* hehe Smiley

I like it when I wake up in the mornings and my first thought is "what can I make today?"

I got the fabric at Ikea. They have really nice fabric for bags there... sturdy and colorful

Oh thanks! I really need to go to an Ikea and check out their fabrics. It's about 1 1/2 hours from me but might be worth the trip.

Whoa!  I need a bag like that for my schoolbooks!  That's really cool!  Love the fabric, too!
