I recieved my package yesterday!  It was so exciting because alot of the stuff isn't stuff I'd normally choose to work with but I'm glad I have it so I can think of new things to do.
I got some fabrics that I absolutely love.  I think I'm going to cover a picture frame in the carebear fabric for my best friend. Smiley  Also some bright pink plastic pineapples... which I believe will be going into a small bowl for a pink beta fish that I will give my friend Liz as a housewarming gift when we move.

Also tons of different squares of fleece (my SO wants me to make a tiny fleece blanket for our cat cause he loves his so much) and really cute hair sticks and...
Can't remember what else, lol... but I absolutely loved it! Thank you!!!

I'm sending out my box tomorrow.  Tried to send it today but had car problems. Sorry.

i just got my package from knottyjen! thanks! i was so excited that i opened it outside with my postman, glen (he was pretty impressed, too!) there's so much stuff, i don't even know what to do with all of it!

ink pad, 3 stamps, folding scissors, safety pins, sponge brushes, carfty decorative scissors, firefly hole punch

soap stuff: mold, soup, tons of scents and colors, lemon additives, rigid wrap (a mystery supply!)

yes, there's more!

wooden beads, scrapbooking letters, black feathers, white yarn and gold leaf

thanks so much!

So I really did open my package with my mailman. but as soon as i saw the shoebox sized box, i knew what it was for and i explained to him that i was in a craft swap, but he thought i said a crack swap. my roommate pointed out to the mailman that he thought it was illegal to mail crack and the postman just said lots of illegal things happen through the mail.

then i e-mailed photos of my loot to my family. my dad said something (the rigid wrap?) looked like a bag of cocaine and asked me if i was into that.

these seems to be an unexpected theme that's resulted from my participation in the swap

i sorry...i used ridgid wrap for a class project and had that pack leftover. I hope i didn't get you into any trouble. I guess i'm a little brave for sending out such a weird thing(ha ha Cheesy). It is messy to work with but i think that makes it fun.

mwa ha ha... now i get to finally return the goodness to kendaljay for sending me such a fantoostic package some months back!

oh my gosh!!!!!!! and you soooo did!!  Grin  i'm sorry i haven't gotten to post about the fantabulastic package yet, it really sucks not having your own internet!  anyway......it was simply great!  let me see if i can remember everything:
**First of all the box was really heavy, so heavy it had stickers on that said something like "lift w/ care, extra heavy"  Shocked
**a big baggie full of little trinkets, old jewelry, some cool bottlecaps w/ pics glued on some, buttons, etc...
**a bunch of bags of small game pieces: pick up sticks, small pebble-type things that i at first thought were candy (cause i'm a dork  Roll Eyes) and then decided they looked like Reversi pieces, some chess(?) pieces that i've already used for an altered book swap.
**a bunch of fabric scraps that alleycat has already claimed a couple of
**some stamps and glitter glue and a paper punch
**a whole bunch of miscellaneaous (sp?) paper scraps and stickers, etc....including one cool pic of.....dang i can't for the life of me remember what it was now!  Undecided

okay, i'm gonna have to go and make a list and take pics and come back tomorrow, cause i can't remember now! pthh....anyway just wanted to say thanks sooooooo soooo much ISAO!  you more than out did yourself!  Cheesy

***Edited  woohoo!!  i got some pics taken!  k here we go:
first the warning sticker on the box (think there were 3-4)

next, the box as a whole when i opened it...wow!!!

and now a closeup of some of the trinkets, i love the old jewelry, gonna have to think of something special for it

and i got 3 vintagey embroidering hoops, the small circle one is so cool, it has a twisty handle instead of a screw

and these are bath fizzy-type things (alleycat was enchanted by them), but i wonder if i can glue them to something?

the fabric scraps

some patterns and a few of the paper scraps...i think my mom will like the bunny pattern a lot! (and alley's hand-she was being sassy!)

stickers and more paper stuff

glitter, and stamps, and punchs, oh my!

an old spin magazine that will definately be cut upon soon (as soon as i read it Wink) and 2 hard bound books w/ the guts taken out of for me already

a frame, some homemade paper, and a christmas craft book

and my personal fave, which alleycat thought was highly creepy, a picture of.....well see for yourself

so there you have it!!  i know there was lots more, but that's the highlights!  thanks again so much miss orange! Cheesy
