My daughter's first birthday was all butterfly themed where we even released REAL butterflies, so i had to make these when i saw them. they are my very first attempt at cupcakes:

and the birthday girl who got no cake, but got to eat half a cupcake Smiley

Your butterflies came out beautiful.  Love the use of those white things (forgot what they're called.  I'd love to try this.  You're baby is just adorable.

Beautiful! The butterflies look fantastic. Are they chocolate and colored white chocolate swirled? Did you do them freehand? Great use of the white jimneys, too. (We call them jimneys, not sure what the 'real' name is)
