Hi all!

I might know some of you already from around the web, from my video game Perler Bead creations...I made a brand new one yesterday and wanted to share it!  Smiley  Actually, my fiance, Paul came up with this idea and it turned out great!

It is a new take on a Super Mario Question Mark Block keepsake box that I have been making for a little while now... it is a keepsake box now with interchangeable power-ups that stick into the top of the box!  The box is made to look like a question mark block that Mario jumps and hits in the games, and it has a lid on the top.  The lid has two layers so it fits snugly on top of the box and is removable so you can put whatever you'd like inside the block itself(perhaps some gold coins?  hehe)

Now, I have put a tiny slot in the top of the lid to allow various bead power-ups to stick inside snugly!  The bead power-ups that I made with this set are:  a red mushroom, a green 1up mushroom, a Fire Flower, an Invincibility Star, and a gold coin.

The block even has two sides - one is the question mark side, and one side looks like after Mario has hit the block, so you can face it around this way when you want to display the power-ups on top.  It is pretty versatile - with five different power-ups or just having the box on its own without a power-up inside, there are six different ways of displaying the box!

I'd love to hear what you think!  I have so much fun finding new ways to use Perler Beads to make these geeky video game creations!

I have a box like this from the video game swap Wink Super cute!
It's a good thing to  have video game boys around to help come up with the crafty ideas, eh? The only good ideas my boy has are about video games or baseball  Roll Eyes
