Hi my name is HSG, and I have a tree fetish.  Grin

This project was inspired by two things:

1. The Bloom Bathmat, by mimiw.

2. And a picture in my guest bathroom downstairs, by meArtDesign on Etsy.

Inherited loads of linens from my Grandmother (who was 96 when she passed away 3 years ago), and these 1970's green towels were amongst the linens. There are 2 large towels, 2 hand towels and 2 wash cloths. Before I would use them though I had to bring them into the current year.  Smiley

All the materials used were from my stash, and I am so pleased with how these turned out. Think I will have to dig out some more of the towels. Smiley

Thanks for checking it out!  Smiley

Looks like your tree fetish has served you well..  You have turned your grandmothers (Z"L) towels into very nice useable towels and have used some of your stash as well. I love the color and texture of your towels.  Shame not to use them.  Subtile changes into wonderful impact. Great project.  Thank you for sharing.

Oh they look beautiful, well done!  And looking at the towels I can imagine them being very, er, "retro" before you leafed them - you've made them gorgeous.
