I have a fan collection from many of the places I've traveled to and I want to display them (without doing something difficult and possibly destroying them) any ideas?!

thanks!

Your fans are beautiful! I have a few myself, that i love, one is in my china hutch. I have 2 suggestions, one would be to get fan holders, i've seen them in stores and you may be able to order from a retail supply site, or even check ebay. the second would be to use shelves that have the grooves in them for holding plates. I used pins once to mount a few fans on thw wall, but it tore the fans.

You could frame them in shadow boxes, but they are fairly expensive.  You can make your own, I'm sure there are instructions on how to transform regular frames into shadow boxes (I've seen them, but don't know where to find them.)  You might even be able to put some of them in poster frames.
