It's the hat... Chicks dig the hat!

I am a part time pirate when not working in the corporate world.
Part of my corporate attire is the inevitable cell phone, and for the longest time I always carried it in my pocket.
Well I was part of a swap recently and made a leather cell phone case for my partner, and I figured I would make one for myself as well.  But what should it look like. Huh
I was racking my brains for ideas when I looked in my library and saw my collection of treasure chests... PERFECT. Grin

So I grabbed my carving tools, my mallet, and with brown and black fingers later I had my own little treasure chest that I can take with me everywhere.

Please let me know what you think.
Here is an image of it next to my pirate hat, and yes I actually wear the hat.

Here is a closer image.

Wow amazing job. Looks professionally made. You should think about selling these. I've been into Pirates ever since the movie "The Goonies" came out in the 80's Grin.

Might you be a fellow member of the church of the flying spaghetti monster??

Pirates ROCK, as does your cell phone case.

Thanks you are not the first person to suggest the selling idea, and I am considering it, or at least being open to swaps.

Goonies is also where my loves of pirates started.  Since then I have evolved into
The Dread Pyrate Justin Kase,
Captain of the SeaMonkey
(This is my Faire persona)

Might you be a fellow member of the church of the flying spaghetti monster??

Pirates ROCK, as does your cell phone case.

I am familiar with the FSM.  I have not joined...yet.  My friends are working hard to convert me.

Thanks all for the feedback.

OK...I know I'm a pirate but I don't get to work as one. I always knew I would grow up to be a pirate, and you did it. Good job, awesome cell holder, and how can I get in on some of that action!
