I'm at the tail end of putting my site together.  I just need to get a mailing list put up.  I've tried the one that comes with my Hostway account (stupid and too complicated) and also NotifyList.com (stupid and too simple).  I'm having a tough time finding something that is workable, usable, and friendly.

What free mailing list programs do/have any of you used before that you can honestly say are easy to use, FREEEE, and user-friendly?

Thank you,

P.S.  I can't wait to post my site!  Right now I just have a page up, so don't critique what's there now.

i have dreamhost, and they offer a free mailing list. i'm sure it's probably similar to your host's mailing list. all you have to do is copy the html to your site, and set up a maibox for the maling list. i was intimidated by it at first, and signed up with notifylist.com. but finally gave in and just spent the time setting up the one through my host. are there help forums on your host's site, where you can talk to people and get help with it? that's what i did, and it's really convenient for me now.

Thanks!  I went with Coollist, despite the fact that they practically ask you your whole life story before signing up.  If I was someone, I'd just make up all the info but put a real email address.  The site is easy to use, and adding and deleting people are a snap.  NotifyList was horrid.  I can't even figure out how to unassociate myself with the site.  I can't delete myself!  Esh.
