I want to learn to knit socks. I have everything except a pattern  Sad and I can't seem to find any good ones that aren't extremely confusing.
Does anyone have a pattern that they could give me to try on my first sock attempt?

Thanks Smiley

Knitty.com has a lot of sock patterns, I'd probably recommend Chevrolace (it has their easiest difficulty rating) or Cutting Your Teeth (it's pretty clearly written out and sets you up with a lot of techniques that will carry into other projects).

There's probably something deeply wrong about using superglue in bed, but I don't care 'cause I'm a rebel.

Knitty also has a basic sock formula that you work up to make a mini-sock so you can learn all of the basics.  I recommend that.  Once you make your practice sock, you can make any variety of others! Smiley
