Hey everybody. Looooooooong time lurker and I'm finally getting my butt in gear to post my stuff.

What makes this interesting is that I can not draw or paint to save my life. I call this "The Balsa Wood Transfer Method."

I saw a magnet at Michaels with this basic sentiment on it, and it happened to be on the endcap with the cigar boxes. Ta Da! Instant inspiration.

So I went to Microsoft Design Gallery Live, found myself some fox clip art to download, combined it with my current font obsession (jingopop is wicked cool) and then printed it out onto regular old paper.

Then, I grabbed myself a ballpoint pen, laid the print-out over the cigar box, and traced. The balsa wood this cigar box is made out of is so soft that the ball point pen makes a small dent. Not enough to disfigure, but enough to see the pattern so you can just fill in the lines with paint.

Then everyone thinks you have talent you don't!
