Hey Ya'll....

So, I love a good and simple recon!! I bought this cute brown skirt from Dirt Cheap (my fave store) for 50 cents - I cut it, sewed it, added a ribbon halter strap, snaps, this little crocheted flower, and a pretty brown and cream glass bead and WHALLA! a cute little dress for my little cutie. She loves it and I hope you do too! Smiley





p.s. I can't get her to take a picture w/o her posing! lol

I have that skirt in white. Smiley I wore it while I was pregnant and the elastic got all stretched on the sides. I would have never thought to make it into a cute girls dress. I love it.

I love reconing skirts into girls dresses, so easy and everyone is always so impressed and we did is a straight stitch!!!
Great job it looks nice and summery and DD obviously loves it!!
