Hello,

Would anyone be interested in starting a knit-along for the Tiger Eye lace scarf on this blog?
http://www.tmooka.net/

Not sure if that link will work or not, if not the address is www.tmooka.net
The pattern is on the left hand side as a free pattern

There is another craftster who has used the pattern and posted the FO here:
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=96139.0

Again, if the link doesn't work, search Craftster for 'lace for mothers day'

I plan on casting on for this at the weekend but I would love it if anyone else wanted to join in.

Also, does anyone know the etiquette of using a free pattern? Should I leave a message on her Blog to let her know I plan on using it?

Ta Muchly

I may do this with you- what yarn are you using?  I have to dig around in my stash and see what I can come up with.  Lace is definately something that is on my to do list and this looks like a great project.
I'm sure she would like to know people like and are using her patterns, I say go ahead and post it on her blog.

Hand Maiden seasilk- color me green with envy!
Okay- I found some KnitPicks Memories in Redwood Forest and have finished one pattern repeat.  I think I'm doing okay on this but I started when camping this weekend, outside with wool in 100 degree heat, ugh!!! I must have been dropped on my head when very young. So now I'm at home in the AC, so hopefully I'll get more done, and then I'll really see if I'm doing this right or not.  I'll post some progress pics soon

Well done! I did one repeat over the weekend but there was something wrong with it, my stitch count kept coming out wrong.  I think I was doing the sl k2tog psso wrong as i couldnt work out what the hell it ment and was making it up as i went along. So I ripped it out and will try again at the weekend, but actually making a bit more effort this time!

I missed that sl before the K2tog psso- I just did the K2tog psso and my count seems to be working out fine.  I haven't been working on this a whole lot, because I'm working on finishing up a charity afghan with my knit/crochet group, but I have done about 4 pattern repeats. I can see the "tiger's eye", so I guess I not f*ing it up completey Cheesy

This weekend was making-new-handbags-cause-i'm-bored-of-all-mine mission, next weekend onwards is the I-want-to-be-warm-this-winter-mission

I'm in!!! I saw this pattern last week and fell in love instantly. I even went out to buy yarn for it. It will be done in ggh "scarlett" turquisisch. But I already have 9 WIPs on the needles and vowed to finish at least two of them before I start something new. So It may take a  week or two before I'll actually start.
